If you are a consumer (forbruker) as defined under Norwegian law, mandatory consumer rights under the Consumer Purchase Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven), the Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven), and the Marketing Control Act (Markedsføringsloven) apply and cannot be waived by these terms.

2. Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

If you purchase goods or services from us at a distance, your statutory right of withdrawal under Angrerettloven applies. You normally have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. We provide the official standard cancellation form (Angreskjema) as required by the Ministry of Children and Families (Barne- og familiedepartementet).

3. Consumer Purchases (Forbrukerkjøpsloven)

When you buy goods from us as a consumer, the Consumer Purchase Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven) gives you statutory rights that these terms cannot limit:

• Conformity: goods must match what was agreed, be fit for purpose, and free from defects at delivery.
• Complaint period (reklamasjon): you may complain about a defect within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered it, and no later than 2 years from delivery (5 years for goods intended to last considerably longer), unless we informed you of a shorter period for used or discounted items as permitted by law.
• Remedies: depending on the defect, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or cancellation of the purchase.

Prices shown to consumers are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include value added tax (merverdiavgift, mva) where applicable. Before you complete a purchase, we will provide clear information about the total price, payment methods, delivery, and any additional charges.

4. Marketing and Fair Information (Markedsføringsloven)

Information on this website must not be misleading under the Marketing Control Act (Markedsføringsloven). Product descriptions, event details, and promotional content are presented in good faith but may be updated. We do not send electronic marketing without your prior consent, in line with Markedsføringsloven § 15 — see our Privacy Policy.

We do not make unsubstantiated health, weight-loss, or disease-treatment claims in our content or advertising. Herbal tea guides on this site describe taste, tradition, and preparation only. Information about events listed on our Events Calendar is subject to change. Registration does not guarantee participation until confirmed by us. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient registrations. In case of cancellation, registered participants will be notified via email.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the courts of Norway, with Telemark District Court (Telemark tingrett) as the agreed venue for business-to-business disputes where applicable. Consumer disputes are handled under the mandatory rules that protect you as a forbruker.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect upon posting on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
